aistottle
aistottle connects to the AI app you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code and any app with MCP) and gives your model checked computation: your data, verified rule libraries, a sandbox that runs the program twice and reports what it read, search with sources and reading of primary sources. Your model does the thinking; the engine inside aistottle — cognit — computes and checks. aistottle never receives your AI key.
Connect
1. Create an account at aistottle.com/account. 2. Add the connector with this address and sign in with your aistottle email and password when your app asks:
__ORIGIN__/mcp
- Claude (web and desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the address → Connect.
- ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode → Create → paste the address.
- Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http aistottle __ORIGIN__/mcp, then/mcpto sign in. - Cursor and other clients:
{"mcpServers": {"aistottle": {"url": "__ORIGIN__/mcp"}}}. - Clients without sign-in: create an API key in your account and send the header
Authorization: Bearer <key>.
Your files — right in the chat
Everything happens in the chat with your AI; you do not need to visit the site:
- Attach a file to your message — your AI passes it to the computation (
files, orfiles_base64for binary ones). - Paste a link — Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Dropbox, OneDrive or any public https file
(shared as “anyone with the link”): your AI imports it with
cognit_import. - A large file (big tables, many files) — ask your AI for an upload link (
cognit_upload_link): open it, drop the files, go back to the chat. The link works for 1 hour; files are compressed in the browser.
Formats: CSV · TSV · Excel · OpenDocument · SQLite · Parquet · JSON · XML · YAML · PDF · Word · PowerPoint · HTML · TXT · MD · ZIP · GZ · PNG · JPEG · GIF · WebP. Tables become CSV, documents text, archives their files. Imported and uploaded files stay in your data (up to 60 million characters) so your AI can use them again by name; you can see and delete them in your account → Data. They are used only for your requests — see the privacy policy.
Memory across chats and apps
aistottle remembers what your AI checked, in your account — so it carries over between chats and between apps (Claude today, ChatGPT tomorrow):
- Checked results. When a computation reads your data (or a verified library) and the re-run matches, the
result is kept under your question. In a new chat your AI finds it with
cognit_recalland re-runs it on your current data: same answer — ✓; the data changed — the new answer next to the old one, with the date. - Facts you tell it. “Remember: our VAT is 12%” — your AI saves it with
cognit_remember, tells you what it saved, and computations can use it asfacts.txt. - Only what you said. Facts from web pages or files are not saved as yours; a remembered result is used only for exactly the same question — a similar one is recomputed.
See, delete or turn off memory in your account → Memory.
Long work across apps
A book, a research project, a report — work that lasts weeks and moves between Claude and ChatGPT. Ask your AI to
keep it in aistottle: it saves the state of the work (goal, decisions, open questions, next steps) and its documents
by section with cognit_context. In another app or a new chat, ask “continue my work” — the AI opens the
same work, sees what was done last and where, and reads only the sections it needs. Free keeps 1 open work, Pro 100.
Program output comes back up to 20,000 characters by default (your AI can ask for up to 100,000 with
max_output).
Tools
No tool changes or deletes anything in your other apps or accounts. Five of them write only to your aistottle account: import and upload link add files; remember saves or forgets a fact you told your AI; context saves your work notes and documents; library save stores your own rule library (it can replace a library of yours with the same name). The rest are read-only.
| cognit_data | Your data: List the user's data stored in aistottle (tables, JSON, documents — imported by link, uploaded by link or in the account): names, sizes and the first lines. |
| cognit_upload_link | Upload link for large files: Get a one-hour upload link for files too large to pass in a tool call (big tables, many files). |
| cognit_import | Import a file from a link: Import a file from a link the user gave in the chat — Google Drive, Google Sheets (as Excel), Google Docs, Dropbox, OneDrive or any public https file — into the user's aistottle data. |
| cognit_recall | Memory of checked results: Search the user's memory of past checked results (from any chat or app) and their saved facts. |
| cognit_remember | Remember a fact: Save a fact the user stated themselves for future chats (e.g. |
| cognit_context | The user's ongoing work across apps: The user's ongoing work, shared across ALL their AI apps (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor…): the user may start in one app and continue in another — nothing should be lost. |
| cognit_libraries | Verified rule libraries: List aistottle's verified rule libraries (payment fees, taxes, norms…): what rules each covers and its functions with signatures. |
| cognit_library_save | Save the user's rules as a verified library: Turn rules the user gave you (a tariff, tax rules, a contract, an internal policy) into a verified library in their aistottle account, for this and future chats: write Python functions that implement the rules, and give worked examples — calls with the result the rules document itself states. |
| cognit_compute | Checked computation: Run a Python program in aistottle's secure sandbox (the cognit engine) and get a checked result. |
| cognit_search | Search with sources: Search the web and knowledge bases (Wikipedia, arXiv, PubMed, OpenAlex and others). |
| cognit_open | Read a source: Open a web page, article, paper or PDF by URL and read it; always pass 'find' with what you look for — you get the relevant passages (without it, only the beginning). |
Verified rule libraries
Rules a model cannot derive by itself — fee schedules, tax brackets, norms — encoded once and tested on examples. When a question falls under a library, the model calls its functions and the check line says so.
| payments_fees | Card payment processing fees by the merchant fee rules (fees.json + merchant_data.json + payments.csv schema of the 'Merchant Guide to Optimizing Payment Processing and Minimizing Fees'): which fee rules apply to a transaction (card scheme, account type, MCC, ACI, capture delay, monthly volume and fraud level, credit, intracountry), fee = fixed + rate × value / 10000, totals per day/month/year, applicable fee IDs, cheapest/most expensive scheme, fee-change scenarios, fraud rates. |
| us_tax_2023 | US federal income tax 2023, filing status single (IRS brackets and standard deduction). |
| bmi_who | Body mass index and WHO adult BMI category. |
Example prompts
- (with sales.xlsx attached) “Which month had the highest revenue? Compute it with aistottle and show the check.”
- “Here is our price list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/… — import it with aistottle and find the average margin by category.”
- “What is the 2023 US federal income tax for a single filer earning $80,000? Use aistottle's verified library.”
- “From my payments data in aistottle (payments.csv, fees.json, merchant_data.json), what total fees did Belles_cookbook_store pay on day 12 of 2023?”
- “Find the current VAT rate in Kazakhstan with aistottle search and read the primary source before answering.”
Plans
Free: 50 checked computations and 50 searches a month. Pro: 3,000 and 1,000. Reading sources, your data and memory are included in both. See plans and limits. Your AI app and model are paid as before, directly to their providers.
Troubleshooting
- “missing or invalid key” / the app asks to sign in again — reconnect the connector and sign in with your aistottle email and password.
- “no such data” — ask your AI to call cognit_data and use the exact names.
- “files are too large for one call” — ask your AI for an upload link, or paste a link to the file.
- “the link opened a web page, not a file” — share the file as “anyone with the link” and paste the link again.
- “the monthly limit is reached” — see plans and limits and your account.
- The AI answers without aistottle — ask it explicitly: “use aistottle to compute this”.
- “(the program printed nothing)” — ask the AI to print the result in its program.
